Connecticut Collections
This exhibit is a sampling of the museum’s artifact holdings. You’ll find things related to Connecticut’s political history, like an old voting booth, political buttons, or women’s suffrage banners. You can also find a box of flints, a collection of uniforms, and other items from our state’s military past. Then there are hair dryers, door knobs, sewing machines, artillery shells, typewriters, and more! What do these things have in common you might ask? They were all made right here in Connecticut!
